A little about us
In September of 2021, my wife Lauren and I went on our first date. On that first date, Lauren let me know she was moving across the country to San Francisco in three weeks. So, like any man in his right mind does when he is falling hard, I made sure those next three weeks were unforgettable. Lucky enough for me, it was enough, and we began dating long distance.
About three months later, I decided to join the missionary organization she was with and move to Hawaii. Within five months of dating, I proposed. We then lived in two separate countries during our engagement and six months later we got married!
Yes, your math is correct, that is less than a year from first date to marriage. But then things got crazier. Within a couple months of marriage we became pregnant with our first child. In July of 2023, our daughter Evangeline was born.
Mine and Lauren's story has influenced the way I story tell. I have learned from the personal experience of my wedding day and video what matters. Nostalgic moments that defined dating seasons, traveling across the world together, and now a new understanding of what it feels like to be the father of a future bride.
All of these experiences have shaped the way we as a family want to tell your stories. I can't wait to be a part of the moment you become a family for the first time!

“There are few things that inspire and excite me more than videography!”
Ever since I was a little kid, I have had a love for things of nostalgia. As a ten year old kid, I remember carrying around a wallet with photos of me and my family. It was one of my most prized possessions.
I like to think that part of that ten year old kid still lives inside of me. I still have a fascination and love for things of nostalgia. Each of my videos are rooted in nostalgic and authentic moments with your family and friends. My story telling method is more real than hype. I want there to be a sort of authenticity behind the way I tell your story. That's why no two videos of mine are the same, because each video I create deserves to be as distinct as you!

BEHIND THE LENS
How home videos and a wedding film can change your wedding videography experience.
Like many videographers in the wedding industry, I came in knowing very little. I didn't know my style, the stories I wanted to tell, or even how to really do it. I just did what I saw every one else doing.
After a little time in the industry, I had what I like to call a story telling conviction. I realized I wasn't really telling stories, I was just pairing cool videos in a sequence with music. The story telling of it all was missing. This is the reason I am so passionate about my wedding films and pairing that with your home videos!
First of all, I have a specific genre of video I create called a "love story film". What separates this from a traditional video is the story telling. You and I sit down, plan out a story we want to tell, and create an intentional creative shoot to pair with it. This along side footage of your wedding helps me tell the full story of your relationship in a cinematic, film like way.
The second way I do this is through home videos. Nothing taps into nostalgia like incorporating videos of you as a child. This allows me to highlight and honor the previous generations that helped shaped you. It also allows me to tell the full story of the bride and groom and let's be real, it makes everyone emotional!

“Every wedding, every shoot, I see the world through a whole new lens. Your story will be different from the last, and this ignites my passion all over again.
You are what inspires me! To tell you the truth, without your super cool, romantic, sometimes wild love stories, I wouldn't have a job.
As I have said before, and will most definitely say again, no two stories are the same. Since your story is so unique, I get inspired all over again every time I hear what got you here.
My motivation day in and day out is the mental picture of you gathering everyone around the TV to watch THIS VERY VIDEO for years to come.

Rain, hail or shine, I won’t miss a beat
A big part of your day is who you choose to be around you. As your videographer, my job is to both blend in and add zero additional stress. I believe these two things are essential, but I don't want to just stop there. My goal is that we would laugh together, cry together, and be best friends by the end of your wedding weekend!
I will show up early to capture the tender and intimate moments, and sneak away for a moment to catch the pre-ceremony nerves of the groom. I can promise I will be full of energy from one too many coffees, I wont stop smiling the entire day, and I won't miss a moment of this special day.
You may not see Uncle Dan breaking it down on the dance floor, but I will! And that emotion you feel at the first look doesn't have to end, you will be able to watch that moment back and feel the emotions over and over again. Capturing feelings and emotions so you can relive them for the rest of your life is what I'm there for!
